Guidelines and Policies

At Quikminds, we believe in providing quality services and transparency in all our transactions. The service guidelines and policies are listed below:

(A) Payment of Tuition Agency Fee

Quikminds will collect a one time fee from the student. This fee will be 50% of the tutor’s first month agreed tuition salary.

For example:
You engage our tutor at a rate of $30 per hour for 2 hours per lesson, once a week. In a month, the tutor’s total salary will be $30 x 2 hr x 4 weeks = $240.

So, the one time fee payable to Quikminds will be 50% x $240 = $120 will be payable by you after the 2nd lesson has commenced. Upon receiving the one time fee, Quikminds will issue you an e-invoice. You are advised to keep this tax invoice for documentation purpose.

The remaining 50% of the salary will be given to the tutors directly.

Do remember to email us the date paid and transaction reference number. This will allow for both parties involved to keep track of the transaction.

(B) Cancellation of Assignment

At Quikminds we try our best to accommodate the needs of our students and tutors. However, the following charges will be imposed should you decide to cancel the assignment before the first lesson that you have agreed to take up.

-    1 week or more before the agreed commencement date – No charges
-     Less than 1 week before agreed commencement date - $50

(C) Termination of Assignment

The minimum commitment period of an assignment is 1 month. Should any party terminate the assignment before the first month is up, Quikminds will still impose the one time fee (50% of the tutor’s first month agreed tuition salary) from the party involved.

For example:

If the tutor initiated or is responsible for the termination (due to constant late coming, etc), then the tutor will bear the fee.
If the student initiated or is responsible for the termination (without valid reasons), then the student will bear the fee.

(D) Service Guarantee

At Quikminds, we understand that the dynamics between the tutor and student is crucial in fostering a close relationship. If you feel that your tutor is not able to attend to your needs, please let us know by the end of the 2 lesson. As part of Quikminds’ commitment to provide quality service, we will follow up with a phone call so that we may replace another tutor for you that satisfies your requirements. All of this will not incur you additional fees. However, you may need to pay for the 2 lessons to the first tutor.

(E) Disclaimer

At Quikminds, we value a healthy partnership. However, we could not act as an arbitrator or mediator for any conflicts or disagreements that arise between the tutor and the student.

(F) Additional Notes:

The tutor is required to call you to confirm the details of the assignment before the start of the lesson. Should you fail to hear from the tutor, do inform us.
